Detox

At Pathways House, we see total abstinence as necessary for recovering from addiction. We do not allow alcohol or drugs to be consumed on our premises. Therefore, we provide a detoxification, for those clients who require it. The detox is available for all drugs, including alcohol. The programme is personalised and designed to fit the client's needs, which are established during the initial assessment.

Furthermore, if the client has food issues along with the primary substance or by itself, abstinence is still going to be defined, where we focus on abstaining from harmful behaviours such as under-eating, overeating and bulimia.

Clients requiring a detox will be assessed by the Pathways House doctor and will be administered the correct and required detox medication. A time plan will be formulated for withdrawal.

Pathways House project is a 12 steps treatment centre offering a program of rehabilitation to men and women who wish to recover from alcohol and drug abuse, gambling and eating disorders also gaming addictions.

The main purpose of Pathways House is to enable men and women who have lost direction through drug and / or alcohol dependency or gambling or an eating disorder to discover new possibilities and change their lives.

Pathways House is based on total abstinence from alcohol and drugs and provides an effective quality treatment for people who wish to begin the road to recovery.
